Eternal resonance

In the eyes of people gone by, I recognize their fate,
Fate of the hopeless, fate of their grief, fate that failed to create.
Unknowingly we are bound for no ending, turning around and around,
For after this ending, begins again, a whole new and different sound.

You and I are like an old dance,
celebrate eternal resonance…

Forget about time, forget about space, I remember it all,
still, in the face of all these memories, I never felt this small.
For they are so countless, their vastness is boundless,
and almost I dare to dissolve in emptiness.

In the faces of people gone by, I see so bitter their pain,
Pain of the anger, pain of their stalling, pain of those feelings in vain.
What are they waiting for, will it arrive? When will their moment be here?
Maybe it’s blindness, maybe it’s human to think there are moments to spare…

You and I are like an old dance,
celebrate eternal resonance…
